Spark New Zealand Signs Naming Rights Deal For Auckland Arena
AUCKLAND, NZ (Celebrityaccess) — Telecommunications company Spark New Zealand has signed on as the naming rights partner for Auckland's 12,000-seat Vector Arena starting in April 2017.
The deal will see the venue, which is owned by Live Nation New Zealand and MHC Investment, renamed to Spark Arena.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but Vector, the previous naming rights sponsor at the venue's agreement was valued at $500,000 a year according to the New Zealand Herald.
“Seeing your favourite musician or entertainer appear on stage for the first time is an experience designed to be captured and shared with friends and family and the role of technology is key to that," Spark CEO Simon Moutter said in a statement announcing the deal. – Staff Writers
