Marshmello and Anne-Marie release music video for 'FRIENDS'

After releasing their hot collaboration just last week, Marshmello and Anne-Marie have unveiled the sassy accompanying music video for ‘FRIENDS’.

Directed by Hannah Lux Davis, the visual truly plays on the song’s friend-zone theme whilst delivering a slick aesthetic. During the video, we see Anne-Marie and her gal pals trying to enjoy a sleepover whilst Marshmello tries his best to woo her with sweet gestures at every opportunity. However, Anne-Marie makes it clear that she just wants to be friends and turns down his advances despite his hilarious attempts to sweep her off her feet.

The ‘FRIENDS’ video is Marshmello’s second visual release of the week, following the unveiling of the ‘Spotlight’ music video on Monday. The track is a collaboration between the DJ and the late rapper ‘Lil Peep’ who passed away in November of last year.

Furthermore, earlier today Anne-Marie announced that she will once again be supporting Ed Sheeran. She will be joining her good friend for the European leg of his tour, which kicks off in Cork on May 4.
