Henry Joseph Samiri Out, New Douglas In
The Bold and the Beautiful comings and goings reveal a new face in Hope and Liam’s little cabin as Douglas Forrester will no longer be played by little Henry Joseph Samiri.
The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Pulls A Douglas Switch
Since Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) returned to LA as a single dad with his son Douglas in March of 2019, he has been played by young Henry Joseph Samiri, a little actor who quickly won over hearts as the little boy without a mother. Thomas arrived home to announce that Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey) had suddenly died and he was all alone to raise their little boy.
Now, Django Ferri will be taking over the role of Douglas as Samiri had another acting commitment when the soap decided it needed Douglas on screen. The role of his pseudo-sister, Beth Spencer, will be played by River Davidson. It will certainly be different to see both the children living in that little cottage but especially jarring for Douglas fans as Samiri is so identified with the role.
The Bold And The Beautiful Updates – What Has Douglas Been Up To?
Fans haven’t seen Douglas much since earlier in the year when he was the one who caught Grandma kissing Santa Clause on New Year’s Eve. Of course, that was an unwittingly drunk Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) kissing Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan). That story spiraled into countless other stories, but at the time Brooke and Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) were willing to do anything to keep Douglas quiet. That included trying to convince him that what he saw he did not see, upsetting and confusing the boy.
Douglas was finally able to get the truth out to Thomas just as he was the one who revealed the truth about little Beth to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) with the words, “Beth is Phoebe and Phoebe is Beth.” That somehow convinced Liam that his little girl was alive and was the baby living with Steffy Forrester as her adopted daughter.
What will Douglas be doing in this latest appearance and does it have anything to do with the rumors that Thomas is finally going to fight to have his son live with him full time again? Stay tuned to The Bold and the Beautiful weekdays to find out.
