Demi Lovato Catches Up With Sonny With A Chance Co-Stars Jokes Shes Been To Rehab Se

Demi Lovato opened up about some of her struggles with mental health issues even more than usual during a video chat with some of her old Disney co-stars! It was a really nice reunion with the Sonny With A Chance actors and as they caught up, the singer and actress was very candid and even joked about her rebab stints.

It’s no secret that Demi has struggled with addiction in the years following her Disney Channel stardom.

While joined by Tiffany Thornton, Doug Brochu, Sterling Knight, Allisyn Ashley Arm, Audrey Whitby, Matthew Scott Montgomery, Damien Haas and Shayne Topp, Demi opened up about what she has been through.

It all started with Allisyn asking everyone about what they have been doing since the Disney Channel show has ended.

That is when Demi joked that ‘I went to rehab. Several times.’

She went on to say that Tiffany was her ‘biggest inspiration’ following her exit from the series when she was 19.

‘When I went away to treatment for the first time, you were my biggest inspiration coming out of it because you dealt with all of those pressures of being a woman on TV,’ Demi sweetly told her former co-star.

Then she revealed that while being on the series at the time, things were really hard for her to the point that she ‘wasn’t sleeping and was so miserable and angry too because I felt like I was being overworked.’

When she finally felt, the show went on without her which really surprised Demi since she was playing the titular character.

‘But I could not have been happier for everyone…I just was not in a period of time when I was ready to be on camera again. I couldn’t go back into that environment and there were other things that factored into it,’ she explained.
