Black College Football Stars Career Cut Short After Girlfriend Pours Boiling Water On Him

Jonnu Smith, a rising college football star has had his dreams cut short–after his girlfriend poured boiling water him during an argument.
According to police report, Smith “was arguing with his girlfriend Mary Gaspar, who is 5 months pregnant, for most of the day over the lack of attention he was showing her in the relationship and she became upset and left.”

Gaspar returned to Smith’s dorm room on campus where she was boiling a pot of water–and poured it on him.

She told the police that she was “emotional and stressed.”  She was charged with aggravated battery and released on a pre-trial release order.

Smith, a Florida International University football has now been ruled out for the rest of the season and because of this, he will likely never play football again.
